if you are in the bay area there is a company called spray tech. they do the ceric coating. they will do it for you. let me know i need to get some parts coated also. they have a lot charge. i think its like $100-150. We can split the cost when you are ready.

Thermo tech makes a sealant spray that is supposed to be resistant up to 2000 degrees.

I have ton of experience with it.

Make sure you soak it before you apply. Once it heats up it will shrink around the header. It will greatly reduce temperatures in the engine bay. It's normal for it to smoke a few time after you first put it on. Use saftey wire or hose clamps work well. IF YOU GET USED OIL ON IT TAKE IT OFF RIGHT AWAY. It will act like a giant candle whick. I think wrap works better then ceramic. Plus is has a certain nestalgic look to it. I can't spell today... mother hang over.
