03WRX!!!- the Helix Downpipe/ Greddy EVO2 combo is one of the quitest TBE you can get right now. As for horsepower gains, you're standing to gain at least 15-20 WHP. If you're local in the Bay Area, you're more than welcome to check this exhaust combo out at our shop.

03WRX!!!- the sound will be similar to the WRX, so the soundclips you found are fairly close to what it will sound on your STI. As far as fitment issues, no problems so far when mating to a Helix Downpipe.

I was able to install this on an 04 STI. Sounds very good. Mellow (not like you guys with the Boral Hush), yet can still be heard.

Fitment was good, but we had to use additional washers for the bolts from the catback to DP as holes were of different sizes and the supplied hardware wasn't adequate.

does this combo lose anything in terms of horsepower over another setup. What i mean is the power loss compared to another system (if any) alot?

i have been running the evo2 w/a catless dp on my wrx for some time and recently went with the helix catted .. with out the cat it sounded like i wanted it to .. low rumble, not overly loud, but definitely sounded sweet in high rpms.. recently went with the catted helix dp to avoid unsightly run-ins w/ the fuzz, as i have been getting sweated lately, and because this doubles as my work vehicle i cant run the risk of being towed away while in the job.. the cat defintely muffeld the exhuast a bit and i can feel a small bit of powerloss.. but practicality prevails for now.. but in time i hope to run a vf 34 and gain back what i lost and then some...
