Do yourself a large favor. Just stick with the stock box and a good quality drop in panel filter (preferably 'dry' if your car is MAF based ~ oiled can foul MAF sensor). You can use an STI, HKS or any high flow drop in you wish...

You should pull the baffle box in the inner passenger fender while you are at it. Do a search for 'snorkle removal' for directions... here or NASIOC.

You will get as much from this as a CAI and it will cost you 1/4 the $ and look completely stock to the five-o's eyes!

the typhoon works well without messing up maf readings causing"lean" like others such as AEM which is the worst intake for subies!...i had it but also had heatsoak and ****ty filtering..so i went back to stock...errr the rpms did climb faster and felt better up top but may have lost alittle dwn low

Don't put a aftermarket CAI on your car unless you get your car tuned for it.

Your stock airbox is a CAI.
I would do yourself and your car a favor and keep the stock
airbox.A K/N panel air filter will flow more CFM's than the stock
air filter though.

Like the write up from cobb says, unless you are going to be changing out your turbo, the stock air box is plenty good enough - it poses VERY little restriction. Spend your money elsewhere .
