Funny noise from turbo spool, possible leak?
so i installed a cobb uppipe on my 07 wrx a couple weeks ago. at first i had a problem with crappy gaskets leaking. when i would try to get full boost it would make a really loud whooshing noise. obviously i knew this was from the uppipe to the turbo leaking cause of the crappy gaskets. so i replaced those with oem gaskets and every things been fine so far. until yesturday, i was driving normally and when i tried to get the turbo spooling i heard the same kind of whoosing noise but at a much lower rpm. actually right when the turbo trys to spool up. after a little it went away so i didnt think much of it. then today i head it again, but it went away, again. but now everytime i turn off my engine and start it again and drive i would hear it about 2-3 times then it goes away. anyone have any clue what this is? do i still have a leak?
also, another thing i noticed is that, when im driving really slow and giving it very little gas, my engine revs up to like 4 without producing any boost, until i really step on it then the boost kicks in. is this also normal or am i crazy, i never really noticed it before i installed the uppipe.

did you take off your tmic when installing the uppipe? if yea then check the hose clamps and see if you need to tighten them down more. Be careful not to tighten them too much because the clamp may break. good luck
