I would recomend getting new gaskets to ensure their is no exhaust leak between the turbo and downpipe. I got them from the subaru dealership after taking the Invidia downpipe off to fix one of the studs that broke off, when i took off the stock downpipe. It was not that expensive. I almost forgot you will have to change the one that connects the downpipe to the catback exhaust also.

I would get a new gaskets, you can pick buy some from the Subaru parts department, or Gruppe-S carries the 5 layer gaskets.

its a good rule of thumb to change them anytime you remove the exhaust and/or 1 of its components, i.e., downpipe, exhaust

Hope you get a good seal. My friend had a leaky exhaust; no good.
