Cobb AP doesnt work with Canadian Subarus??

Cobb AP doesnt work with Canadian Subarus??
Hi guys , a sales from GNV Mortorsports told me the Cobb AP does not function with Canadian Subarus? is that ture? doesnt really make sense to me since i have a 07 wrx, and we are all 2.5L, so what do you guys think?

Cobb's website says North American Subarus only, which should include Canadian ones. The website used to say USDM ECU's only, but I have a feeling the ECU's for the US and Canada are the same, so they changed it to say "North American" to avoid confusion.

I just got mine today. All over the box and in the manual it says Nroth American Subarus only. I don't know if the ECUs are different. I am definately happy that I finally invested in one, makes a huge difference.
