Closed Deck vs Semi-Closed
Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between these two types of blocks? I know the STi has a semi-closed deck and I believe the Evo (just as an example) has a closed one....what do they mean? Is there such thing as an "open deck"?

Here is open deck:
Here is closed deck:
Here is semi-closed deck:
Closed deck is the strongest one of the 3. But, cooling is better on the open deck. So semi-closed is a good compromise.
For most people/applciations, semi-closed is good enough. Closed decks are really "overdone" and will take pretty much any boost and NOS.
