much appreciated too!
I noticed that....I was about to start posting all the time to get rid of that designation.
If anyone is interested, I did get the aps turboback installed. It is louder than I expected (I got the catted version) but is not obnoxious loud - I like it, and I like quiet exhausts....sound is incredibly deep. Definite improvement in spool up time and power. I didn't want to take any chances with a CE light so had them install a MIL eliminator also. The single tip version looks like the stock tip (maybe a tad bit bigger), so it doesn't announce to the world that you have an aftermarket exhaust (I personaly like that, although others may want an obviously aftermarket looking exhaust).
Overall, I am very pleased with the aps exhaust...price has come down some - if you research a bit, you will find the price comparable to the turboxs, b&b, mrt and other quality exhausts out there.
Anyone looking for an install/tuner shop in the Minneapolis area, check out Propulsion in St. Paul. Good shop - they also can get most any aftermarket part.... I know I will be giving them more business.

I have an APS Turbo-back with cat and I did throw a CEL (low cat efficiency) once when I was cruising in fith for a long time, because the ECU was trying to finetune mix for best fuel economy using the second O2 sensor.
However, I got COBB AcessECU stage 2 re-flash and I have not gotten any CELs since.

Sorry to hear that! Boost creep is usually caused by the turbine exhaust path being less restrictive than the waste gate. The gas will always take the path of least resistance, and in your case the path of least resistance is through the turbo even with the waste gate open.
Since I have the Gen-I WRX APS 3" taper to 2.5" at the muffler exhaust with the cast iron "big mouth" collector (no divorced waste gate dump) I have no boost creep! 15.4 psi max boost! No more, no less!
I like APS! Good fit and finish, great sound (not too loud), a cat, and increased flow!
