Anybody heard of these guys...
It looks legit but I figured I would ask and see if anyone has had any dealings with them.

Looks like a welding class was practicing with their exhaust and covered it up with heat wrap.... They aren't very cheap either....
Plus all those upgrades.. Turbo, fuel pump, i/c, and only 12.1 on the slip with a STI
I've seen alot better times honestly with mostly the same stuff and a lil engine management.

That's why I said it looks legit, their horsepower figures aren't outrageous and the 1/4 times aren't either. The Garrett turbo was a nice choice on their part, The fuel rail looks a little home-made and the exhaust pipes aren't fabulous either but at least they're probably not lying like most tuners do. Their intake looks pretty good, even goes into the wheel well where the air is colder. Those numbers seem reasonable for those parts with no ECU management. I take it from the reply they are no-names in the Subaru turner world.

Wanna see proof from a tuner?
Wanna see 9 second quarter mile times?
just as an example.

They give no numbers for the STI, just the WRX. I don't have a WRX so I don't care that they have a 9 second car. I'm trying to find tuners that have stage kits for STI's... there aren't many around that I trust, especially when they use an Injen CAI...like it actually works better than the stock one. Why fix what ain't broke or can't be made better.

i have had their TBE and 785cc injectors on my wrx for quite some time, never a problem. they are a legitimate company. do a search on NASIOC and you'll see. that particular stage 3 upgrade has sent 2 separate puerto rican sti's into the 11 second territory (LOW 11's mind you) and both are making 500+whp (at the 4 wheels). one sti is knocking on 10's. i think the last run was 11.08 or something. oh did i mention both are on stock longblocks? not that this type of power should be attempted on stock...but the power's definitely there.
it's a popular upgrade and there are a good number of ppl going with it on other boards. and fwiw, no fuel management is offered probably because not everyone wants to use ecutek like they do. half the guys out there use utec. if you look closely, there is an option for a fuel management package that includes fueling and electronics. expensive? i don't think so. you have to understand that they are the manufacturer of these parts. so that's MSRP pricing. no one ever goes to HKS' or Greddy's website and complains that the prices are too high.

Car Info: 2005 Aspen White STi
Ultimate Racing is based out of Toronto. They are about a 15 minute drive from my house. I'm not sure I want to go the EcuTek route either but whatever tuning I'm going to do to my STi is going to be done through them. They seem pretty legit to me, a little expensive, but legit.
The salesman that sold me my STi is friends with the owner of UR and said he might be able to hook me up.
