the car takes getting used to... Obviously magazines dont get to keep the cars long enough to get used to them
No, the problem isn't with the drivers. The problem is with the car. It is heavy, top heavy and front heavy with power to the rear and so, no traction. That's why it got beat. It's basically a dinosaur.
If the Cobra is really so hard to drive, even straight ahead on a sticky drag strip.....that Car and Driver, MotorTrend, Autoweek, Hot Rod and Motorweek cannot figure it out...then, I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on it too. I'll take the STI, thanks.

thats what i have been saying all along... THE STI IS A BETTER CAR.... but in straight line acceleration, the cobra owns it... I have driven the two of them and u can definitely tell the cobra is faster... I prefer the way the sti handles and i prefer the fit and finish of the sti... Once my supra is paid off at the end of this year, i am buying an sti as a second car... If I was just into the straight line speed, i'd pick the cobra besides thats what i have my supra for... But the sti owns the road course... I drove the sti and i was impressed with the all around performance but the cobra only impressed me in the straight line... Cobras are dynoing over 500rwhp with $900 in mods... Its impressive, I am a car enthusiast, I'm not brand loyal, I tell it like I see it...
