*Need Help* 2005 STI wont start

Here's the story..me and a couple of friends went driving through some twisties..i got to a tight turn spun out(didnt hit anything) i got the car to move about 5 feet and it died. Tried to start it but it wouldn't turn over. the car cranks but wont start..popped the hood and the first thing we noticed was that the pipe from the manifold(gruppe-s header) was glowing red, we then noticed that the screw holding the coil pack was practically falling out(passenger side cylinder closes to the firewall) we had tools so we tightened the bolt and let the car cool down. Tried to start it again but nothing. I tried resetting the ecu just to see if anything would work..the car started but struggled to idle, and when it did it was lumpy and eventually died. after that the car wont start at all. i was also low on gas..but the gas light didnt go on until just before i spun out. the car didnt throw any codes during the whole thing, ended up towing the car home. and help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

cliff notes:

pipe from header to uppipe glowing red hot
bolt holding in coil pack falling out

Not 100% sure but I wouldn't be suprised if there is something loose in your electrical ignition system. Your mention of the coil pack got me thinking on this line. The rough idle is a key simptom of a single cylinder not fireing.

One other thing, look at each one of your injectors. There is a small clip which keeps the wires tight against the injector connectors. If a clip falls out, its only time until the wire falls out or becomes disconnected - car won't run very well at all.

This happened to me while I was installing my front mount - took me forever to track down the problem... I think it was the #2 cylinder.
