I don't know exactly how fast Nico's going in his Km/h, but I do know that 100 Km/h is 62 Mp/h, so his top speed sounds somewhere over 150 Mp/h, not bad.

ya ur wrx tranny s got long gears very good up grade 4 my car but will c how long it last wit my motor cuz i blow tranny s like there going out in factory warrnety style. i give it a year of everyday use. will c how long my 350hp legacy turbo 2.2l motor will do to the gears haha ha if this one blows it will be the fifth one ha ha ha

......5th tranny???......hrm, if you treat your car nicely, i'm sure it will do the same for your wallet....

okay, i think we've come to an agreement that wrx is FAST enough...hehe...but can anyone tell me when you do go past 70 mph, does the car feel like it's flying? or is the chasis heavy enough to a point where u dont really feel like your driving so fast? thanks

top speed is 143ish....i got mine past 140...so i am guessing 143 that is what i have heard. books say its limited to 130...but its not...and yes the drag is 143....redline can't be much over 150 though...cause its at 7grand when you hit 140....and redline limiter kicks in around 7700 when you are in top gears. though i can bounce it off just over 8000 in first and second

I was surprised how solid the car feels all the way up to top speed!
It does not feel like you are flying. On the contrary, it feels very stable and connected to the pavement. Straight line stability is so much better than all of the other cars I have driven. I hugs the pavement and glides along the road effortlessly.
I think my WREX is cool!

Is there a possibility your tach is off? My rev limiter kicks in just after 7g's. I remember reading somewhere that the WRX tranny is rpm limited to somewhere in the 160ish MPH, I could be wrong though. Anyone?

no my tachs not off, it just depends how fast it revs....you can bounce it off high rpms in low gears because you can shift before the limiter has a chance to kick in, but high gears(slower rev) it kicks in....and you should definitely be able to get to atlesat 7500 before it kicks in, i will look to see what it says is the stock cut off. maybe someone else will know also. and that 160 sounds about right, but you had better have a lot of power, cause it doesn't accelerate very fast that high up and you can't run the engine at 7000+ for any great amount of time, thats how thing break
