WRX modding advice.
I like the SRT-4 because things are made simple with there Stage set ups. Does the WRX have any Stage set ups or guidlines to follow? I don't want to spend much, maybe keep it uner $1,500 to $2,000 in mods. I don't want cheap ways to get hp, I want reliable power. I know people who get there carts fast with budget kits and nitrous but I just would like some break downs of packages and or set ups to make it nice and well rounded. I do not need STi performance just some things to make the car a bit nicer performance wise, a list of some must have mods for everyday driving and getting on it every once in a while with the random occassional strip trip. Thanks for the help.

You might read the threads in the EJ20 turbo forum (where I moved your thread) to see what others are doing for mods. Read also threads in the Engine Management forum. Make use of the Search feature in each forum. If you have specific questions that aren't found, please ask.
A common stage setup for the WRX is a turbo upgrade to the IHI VF30 or VF34, larger STi 'pink' injectors, Walbro fuel pump to supply those injectors, and your choice of either piggyback or reflash engine management.
After that, you could spend a lot more money on a bigger turbo, a front-mount intercooler, and professional dyno tuning.
Don't forget your car's suspension but that's in another forum.

for $1500 - $2000, you can get a good amount of power.
ECU reflash - $300 - $600 from either cobb or vishnu or where ever
K&N Drop in filter - $50
up pipe - $150 - $250 HKS, Helix, etc
down pipe - $150 - $350 HKS, Helix, etc
exhaust - $450 - $750 HKS, Greddy, Helix, Borla, Etc.
Intercooler Hoses - $150 - $250 Samcon, Cusco??, etc.
this all adds up to ALMOST 300 hp depending on what relash you go with.
Vishnu and Cobb all have their own combination of parts for their off the shelf maps.
