WRX bov question...

I am looking to buy a bov for my 03 wrx and have a couple of questions. First, I now that I can run ruch if getting a 100% VTA bov, but does anyone have any problems with the Turbo XS Type H BOV, and is it as loud as they say. I can pick up a used 1 for 100 bucks but i need to buy the washers (he misplaced them). Also is the GFB Hybrid a good 1 to get can you hear it with the windows up and the setting at 50/50. Any help would be appreciated, TIA

I have, you don't think I have, but most say they have heard this and heard that about this bov, but I want to know from people who have 1 of the 2 I stated so I know where I stand.

I have a T-XS Type H-RFL BOV on my 04 WRX and I LOVE it!!! I currently have two washers in it and it IS as loud as everyone says it is. Great sound, and great quality, I would recommend it.

Your best bet is to get the Hybrid, it is quality like all GFB parts and you should not run into problems with it, another high quality plumb back is the forge diverter valve, and it gives a nice thunk type of noise(100% full circulation).

I'm also looking into the GFB 50/50, but like alot of people on here, I don't "need" it for any performance (I'm probably not rich with my mods) standpoint, but just can't get enough of the sound.
Is the GFB 50/50 a good, safe bet?
TIA, Andy

Type-H I have, for the sound. 50/50 is all performance, if you're performance the 50/50 will become louder.

Hey all! I have the GFB Hybrid BOV on my own WRX and I love it! I have never had any problems out of it and I run it at 100% atmos. The quality, construction, and sound are unmatched! You can not go wrong with either the Hybrid or the Stealth BOV's!

If anyone is interested in getting ahold of one then let me know! Feel free to email or PM me with any questions!

Thanks,
Brian
