If you are looking for an after market BOV then Go Fast Bits makes on of the very best for the WRX! They have the Hybrid which can vent either 50/50 or 100% back to the atmos. Or there is the Stealth which can do anything in btw. giving you the abiltiy to change by the twist of your wrist.
I can get you either if you are interested!
Let me know if I can help!

We typically advise customers to stick with the stocker unless they are running a fairly large turbo where the boost they are running is a little much for the stocker (they normally would have FMIC's and such as well).
Most turbo's on the smaller side of the PE series (VF34, 30 etc) setup correctly will run great with the stock unit.
Now if you like the sound of a aftermarket bov then that is a different thing, pick the one you like the sound of the most

Nice to see
a vendor giving good advice instead of pushing a product someone doesn't need. Not that I haven't dealt with you before, but thanks!

damn honest vendors!
a bov on an otherwise stock car will **slightly** decrease performance as far as i know..but its barely noticable and to some people the sound of an aftermarket bov is worth it

On a mostly stock car, i'd recommend going 50/50 instead of %100 vent. That way you can still somewhat keep the bypass feature of the stocker, while still getting that PShshshsh sould. Like someone said earlier in this thread, GFB makes some.

Never said it was needed but I wouldn't say that you would have to wait until extreme applications to get one either. Yeah the stock will do well for light mods....but lets face it who wants a stock anything anymore?? LOL That is why most go with the Hybrid 50/50 or Stealth because it can be run on mild to high mod applications.

Yea it's really horses for courses to be honest, just don't go buying a bov (hybrid or otherwise) on near stock or mid modded car and expect it to do anything other than make a noise between shifts/at throttle lift abd enrichen the fueling at that time as well.
If your going with a high level of modification running boost in excess of 22psi stay away from most if not all of the bolt on bov's and get a race use one like the HKS or Tial.
If you like the sound of a bov by all means get one.
Just my 0.2c
