wide ban o2 sensor question

wide ban o2 sensor question
I just did a 3" turbo back exhaust (MRT), after 500 kms, it through a 0139 cell.
I have about 60,000 kms on the car. I know that the o2 sensor is near the end of its life.
I would like to know would there be any advantage to getting a wide ban o2 sensor?
Thanks

That code is for the rear 02 sensor. Do you have a "fix" connected to it, that may be the cause rather than the sensor itself.
But to answer your question, if the sensor is indeed bad it must be replaced with the exact same type to work properly. The rear sensor is a standard narrowband type, as opposed to the front which is wideband, and it is only used for catalyst monitoring not A/F control.
