Who's taken off their turbo heat shield?

I chose to leave mine on for the obvious heat soak problem, but also leaves it more stock looking. I cut mine per Perrin's instructions, I was going to post a pic, but the instructions on his site are now pictureless???

Heat Sheild
When a buddy of mine got a BPM downpipe, the heats sheild wouldn't fit, so he got the guy he bought if from to cut a heat sheild out of some metal flashing (I'm not sure what kind of metal it was) and that works great. I would venture to say that it is better than the stock because his custom made one, fist better on his downpipe and covers more of the downpipe.
