what's the best exhaust?
I wanna hear what you guys think is the best sounding exhaust out there. I'm leaning towards getting the Greddy Evo 2 because it is super quiet, but I want to be sure that is sounds good at wot. What's the loudest, the quietest, best built, all around the best?

You are going to get all sorts of different opinions on what is the "best." I personally think the Greddy sounds awesome, but that's too quiet for a lot of people. It's all about personal preference. You should check out your local forum, go to a meet, listen to a bunch of cars, and decide from that which one YOU like the best. They all are about equal from a performance standpoint, so you're basically choosing on looks and sound.

i myself have the gt- spec catback and i love it. at first i was going with a borla hush due to the fact it looked a stock exhaust, but i have no regrets with my gt- spec.

well if you want an extremely loud exhaust get the blitz nur spec or the perrin performance exhaust. the advantage with the perrin is that it comes in dual-tip which looks almost stock.
if you want the quietest exhaust go with the borla hush. its very stock looking and the noise level is very close to stock. the differnce between the hush and stock is that the borla brings a nice low rumble to the sound of the car. imo this should have been the stock exhaust for the car.
when picking out an exhaust you really need to address a few things; sound, looks, performance, and price. you should probably decide what kind of look your going for then continue from there. do you want a stock looking, sleeker, dual-tip design or a big can looking exhaust. in most cases the bigger the exhaust tip and muffler the louder it is.
hope some of this helps, good luck with your decision.

Just pull off your cat-back exhaust and run straight from the dp...it's the most cost effective way, gets rid of any backpressure (more horse), don't haveto worry about looking ricey because there's no tip to show...only downside is that it's loud as hell!!

I haven't decided on an aftermarket catback for my car, hence the reason I'm still running it like this. Out of all the catbacks out there, I like the Invidia, but I'd like one that's closer sounding to how I have it now, I just haven't found it yet. I'll probably end up having to custom bend a 3" pipe all the way back and install 1 resonator, no muffler, to make it sound like this, yet still look halfway legal.

anyone run into any probs(ecu, back pressue ect..) with a 3" turbo back exhaust with no cats?? I want the most performance out of the exhaust while keeping the noise level down. Any one got any thoughts on where and what I should get??

The newer greddy evo2's are not as quiet as the previous generation. If you want the older one, look on the classified forum and you'll get a good deal. I know Krinkov is selling one.

I have the vishnu non-signature series 3" tbe and I like it a lot. It looks just like stock, is quiet for an aftermarket exhaust and has great build quality. I had the HKS hiper cat-back before, but that gave me too much unwanted attention. Dual tip exhausts are the way to go if you want a stealthy setup.

Do you have a hush? I do, and it's WAY louder than stock. It's not the loudest I've heard, but has a real mean rumble down low and opens up real nice when you get on it(surprising almost as loud in the cabin as outside at idle). Again...it is not quiet. The funny thing is, you can't even find "HUSH" on borla's website it's the dual tip "Stainless Steel Cat-Back™ System". With equal length headers it does quiet down some(plus give you the a-typical honda sound), I'd assume that with stock uppipe and downpipe it woudl probably be a tad mroe quiet, but with PDE up, maddad catted DP and 3CE it's pretty noticable.
