Yes. If you want to add a BOV to replace a perfectly functioning compressor bypass valve, use an adjustable unit. They sound nice (if you're into that sort of thing) and look pretty but add no power.
EDIT: In CA, you also cannot pass the visual part of the smog inspection so you'll have to swap it out for the stocker at smog check time.

I've never had a BOV but I think if you adjust it so that if the car runs okay, that's the best you can hope for.

Makes a noise of a burst of compressed air as excess boost is bled off during sudden throttle movements. I sort of like the sound but I don't want to spend the money on no performance gain.
The new Worx BOV which seems to be gaining in popularity.

Don't antilag systems totally fuq your turbo/exhaust manifold? I saw the one from Bee*R on takakaira, I dunno what this "gfb" thing is everyone's talking about. Usually whenever I ask about this stuff I just get someone telling me to read the "Rally cars, bang bang" article I'm sure you've all read. Can someone fill me in?
