Thumbs up

Install it wrong and it will leak. Follow shiv's up-pipe install instructions and you'll be fine.

If you can, edit this poll so that people can put "don't have an uppipe" because people will put random answers just to see the results ... and of course that will screw up the poll.

its all subjective, look at how many people have the egt probe drop-in losen up and cause a leak, thats no biggie. if you are worried about it leaking from the gaskets or such, dont worry, get it done right. and if you are worried about build quality, dont purchase a cheap component.

re: chances of an up-pipe leak

Heard reports of leaks when improperly installed. Decided to have a recommended shop do the install. They did a great job. I asked why some folks who do the install themselves have problems with up-pipe leaks and was told that the order in which exhaust components are re-assembled makes a difference as far as leaks developing. They haven't had a single come-back involving an up-pipe since they established a set installation routine.

It's been just over a month since my up-pipe went in. No leaks, no CELs.

where can i get it done

I really need some help getting mine installed. I live in the Houston area. I have already went to one place and they couldn't get it to quit leaking. I am just waiting to find a place that can do good work. Please help.

got the turbo xs up-pipe. I think i have an exaust leak after about 500 miles. Sounds like a screetching when the turbo spools up. No cels though. GOt my up-pipe installed at SpeedSport TEchnik in Norwalk COnnecticut after reading good reviews.....maybe not.
