I've got a gt spec up and perrin dp (catless) with a borla hush in back. Although I am thinking of swapping to a catted dp, possibly helix since its got great reviews.
Question for those running catted dp, is there a significant difference in smell compared to a catless?

I had the helix up and dp, I loved them, but wanted something that looks more stock, so I bought the bosal uppipe(same as STi) and the stromung shorty divorced wastegate downpipe with the stock third cat. Both setups are great, but I like the stealthiness of the new combo.

those who have the helix and perrin downpipes attached to the Borla Hush, what type of mounting issues (if any) did you have hooking them together? I've been looking at the Cobb dp since it has the "doughnut" gasket, but it is ridiculously expensive. any info would be helpful.

I'm using a Helix uppipe which I love so far, no problems.
For downpipe I have a Perrin w/ high flow cat. I think divorced wastegate downpipes are the way to go as far as helping to get rid of turbulence when the wastegate opens. Plus the Perrin doesn't extend the wastegate tube exceptionally longer like a Bosal... it just comes out the wastgate then gets dumped back in quickly and before the high flow cat.

i like my pde, the flange to the catback is designed exactly like a stock one...meaning it uses the stock donut gasket, spring and bolt....so it would fit with any catback, that's suppose to mate perfect with the stock downpipe=no exhaust leak problem....perfect with my blitz nur spec...
