I got a fast response from Vishnu, they also said check for Valet mode and told me how to do it. They also recommended to check for boost leaks.

Any ideas on common places for boost leaks? This is my first turbo car so I have no idea where to start, other than the intercooler connectors.
Might be in valet mode. Whenever the battery is disconnected, the ECU defaults to valet mode. At least that's what happens on my car.

Check the vacuum hoses that make up the factory boost control, posted courtesy of RussB. If you have a boost gauge, check that vacuum hose, also. Check other vacuum lines while you're at it. It only takes a small split in the hose to mess things up. Some cheap vacuum lines may have a seam that runs along its length - that's a common place for a split to occur.

I hit the UCKK meets off and on. The last time I was there was about 3 weeks ago. If you're gonna show up I wouldn't mind comin out. On second thought, I just checked the thread and it sounds like there will be some different people than usual. Should be an alright one. Lemme know!

Cool, check to see if it's on valet mode. I forgot how to. But post back up if you figure out if that was the problem!

I tried the reset just a minute ago, but it did not work (or I could have done it wrong. It is just TURN KEY TO "ON", PUSH GAS PEDAL TO FLOOR, and HIT REAR DEFROST, right?). Tomorrow I will check the hoses.

That's correct for the valet mode toggle. You can turn off the rear defrost anytime after you release the throttle pedal.

It toggles the valet mode immediately when I've done it. I've toggled the mode both with the engine off (ignition on), and also while driving. Works the same whether engine is running or not.

crap. Hmmm, now I have to go check for a leak somewhere in the system OR take it to Vishnu. It holds a steady 12psi, so I am completly baffeled.

I figure I will post this so if anyone searches they can find info that helps. I went to Vishnu yesterday and had Shiv look at it. He said that the stock wastegate actuator setting is set to 11psi. he tuned the car and it reaches 17psi now peak and 15psi holds. I also found out that my turbo is NOT a VF34. My turbo makes peak trq. lower and it makes fewer peak HP. Now to find out what the hell turbo I have.

I made peak 235WHP (well 234. something) and I forgot the peak TRQ. No baseline was done so I have no idea how much I gained. BUT probably like 40hp or so.

If some one has a floppy drive on there comp I can give you the disc and post dyno plots (sorry my comp only has CD drives)
