Switch over to synthetic oil...
Ok, this is more of a question on differences noticed. I just changed over to synthetic at 7500 miles. I, and my girlfriend, noticed that it sounded differently running. Like the pitch changed when running. Also, I noticed that the engine warms up faster in the morning with the synthetic...did anyone else notice these things? I am using mobile 1 tri-synth.
One more thing. When I was making the change to synthetic, the tech said that going back to dino oil after going synthetic will often cause the seals to become brittle, and possibly crack? Is this just a bs line, or does this actually happen. If it is not bs, does anyone understand why this would be caused?
Thanks!!

From what I understand, synth is a good choice if you are running a forced induction car. This is due to its higher breakdown temperature, as the turbo gets REALLY hot. Also, it provides a lubrication that is better then dyno (more slippery). Now, as I have already went synth, did anyone notice what I had mentioned previously?
