stock sti catback quiet on a catless dp? is it safe ?
does anyone have a sti cbe on their 3' downpipe, i know you will also need a 3' adapter.
will this cause too much back pressure? is it safe?
reason is i just got a fix it ticket and im looking for a borla hush seems very quiet but cant find one at the moment for around 300-400 quick, and sti cbe are everywhere. my buddy told me to just cut the muffler off my invida n1 (3inch) and weld on a sti muffler and it will be stupid quiet, but if i go that route there will be no turning back any ideas?
catless dp titek, invida n1 catback, and dyno 278whp
thanks in advance

i don't suggest you cut off your invidia catback and welding on a stock sti catback. it's just a waste of money. i'm sure you can trade your invidia for stock sti catback + some money on top.
as for fitment, the stock sti catback should bolt onto your titek downpipe. you will most likely have a small exhaust leak, but it's nothing major. back pressure should be minimal and i'm pretty sure it is safe. it will be MUCH quieter installing the stock sti catback.
