stock exhaust gas temp sensor
does anybody know where it it located because my car is running lean(was told by dealership) after i brought it in for a CEL.. I had a injen cold air intake and a Turbo XS Type H-RFL BOV. ANd the car started to hesistate at around 5k rpms. so i brought it in and was told its running lean and the intake is the cause. Well i took the intake off and the BOV off and its still doing the same thing. But now i also noticed that im spiking my boost till like 20ps almost. The hesistation is still there. A local shop said i may have melted my exhaust gas temp sensor(stock one) so im thinking about pulling it and see what happens but not sure where to look for it.
ALso my CEL is comming on and off every few days wich sucks.
Besides pulling the probe anyone have any other advise? Maybe taking it to another dealr(since this one told me never come back for warrenty work cause i woulnt pay there diagnostic charge) and i am planning to do a turbo back exhaust in the near future with a high flow cat 3in all the way back and a chip in the spring wehn the tax return comes in?
Just looking for some advice.
Thanks
Peter

thanks for the infoe... i pulled one of the plugs that i thought was it (it went into the upipe) and the car under boost started to make a funny high pitched sound so i pluged it right back in.... im gonna get a new probe and see if that helps i was told that it could be damaged from running way to lean (hot) dont know how true that is....
wish my computer adjusted itself.
i also read that other guys on other forums (impreza.net) are having the same problem and same mods mostlly the running the injen intake and no ecu or injectors or things like that to even the effect...
same hesitation and they dont know what the problem is either
i think im gonna take it to the dealer (different one this time) and see if they could fix it under warrenty( i but it back to stock last week) and the problem still persistes i was hoping it would get fixed when i went back to stock =(
thanks for the advice
