STi engine pitch mount
has anyone installed the STi engine pitch mount? i know that the engine and transmission mounts are a popular mod (one i'm planning on doing) but i haven't hear much about the pitch mount. anyone care to chime in on whether or not this is a worthwhile mod? the mount isn't too expensive, but you have to pull the intercooler to install it.

The benefits might not be as noticeable as the engine and tranny mounts. I did the engine mounts and will soon tackle the tranny mount. I'm going to skip the pitch stop mount for now.
If you haven't already done so, get yourself some Samco intercooler hoses (2 or 3 pieces) and install those while you have the intercooler off for the pitch mount install.

i wasn't going to pull the I/C just to install the pitch mount, i was going to wait on that and throw it in while i had the I/C out anyway. that'll likely be when i either install I/C hoses, or an oversize I/C. thanks.

I'm getting ready to put in the STI Pitch Stop Mount along with the engine and tranny mounts. According to www.gruppe-s.com ,
The STI "Group-N" pitch stop is designed to reduce forward and aft motion of your motor during hard acceleration and deceleration. This is done by increasing material stiffness over your stock pitch stop. By decreasing forward and aft motion, more energy is focused to the drivetrain rather than shifting the engine. You can get it there for $50 with free shipping.

I bought it because it was cheap. I didn't really notice much from it though. I did do the engine and tranny mounts at the same time though.
I seem to remember that the 91-94 legacy turbo has the same pitch mount and you might be able to get it cheaper.
