I believe a lot of members did this mod since it only take like 20~30mins or so. From most threads I read, there's pretty much no benefit at all and this doesn't do any harm to the car. All you get is cool sound effects(noise).
You simply remove the intake silencer which is inside the fender. After that, you can hear more from the turbo and the stock BPV(similer sound as a BOV).
