Remove 2 Cats and still pass CA emissions?

I question that smog tech...big time. It shouldn't of passed the visual, first of all (auto fail). He must of taken to 'somebody'. I've had my car to his shop once and a couple of the guys there were checking out my car and the smog guy walks over and looks around on my car. His first words to me were, "fail". I don't even have half the stuff that other guy has. I just had to smog my other car which is a little 4cyl. that runs fine with nothing wrong with it and it failed the NOx. I'm going to try another cat because the one on there has about 30K miles on it. He said that the emission limits are tough now...he admits it.

On what TurnWRX said, yes, you take it back to the dealer because that is their problem if you haven't done anything to it.

Man am I glad I dont live in CA .. I pased emissions in my Talon with a peice of 3" Pipe with the outside of my cat welded to it .. LOL

I guess colorado is going to start to crack down harder though .. good thing I dont have to get one for another 5 years.
