Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Is it really necessary????

Is it really necessary????

I am about to get a turbo back exhaust , and a vishnu subzero by the end of this year. Do you think i really need gauges such as boost and egt and such to monitor my car? I am not going all out on my car, juss adding a bit more power thats all. So do u guys think i need the gauges before installing the turboback?

If you are getting a turboback, you'll also want an uppipe, which would put you at Vishnu Stage I. And yes, you definitely want to get gauges, or at least something like the psi3 meter so you can monitor boost and EGT, at a minimum.

yes, its a good way to watch how your car is reacting to the new mods. the boost would be important to see if youre spiking, or sometimes tell if something's wrong if its not spooling quick enough.
