just as an update. I fixed the problem. Luckly I have access to rack the car up or this would have been a *****
what I ended up doing was loosening athe trans mount bold and loosened the downpipe from the catback. I had someone hang on the downpipe as I retightened everything. now the pipe is about 1cm away from the crossmember, and I havent had rattles since.
thanks everyone for your help

My Helix V3 dp wouldn't mate up flat to my cat back. There was a 1/4 inch gap at the top of the flange so I had to get my catback bent in order for it to fit. Helix fitment quality sucks!

yeah I'm starting to get the rattle back (when I turn and shift and over bumps) I'm going to modify the transmission bracket and see how it goes. I'll keep everyone informed

i'm pretty sure it's the stock catback causing all the rattling. let me guess you hear it when you do a sudden downshift, reverse, hit bumps in the road? did you use the stock donut gasket? if your symptoms are the same as mine then you might wanna free up that exhaust a bit by changing your catback. every car is different, but thats what worked for me and you can't beat the suby rumble. anyway let us know how it goes. good luck
