power steering pump leak?
So i took my car to the dealer to varify a leak thats alil to the left of the alternator. There was fluid on the top of the timing belt cover which looked to be oil leaking. I guess it turns out the power steering pump is leaking, is that about where its located? They quoted me $700 for an install so i was just going to do it my self. If the pump is leaking do i just get a used one and simply replace it? Anyone know of instructions on the procedure? Thanks for any help.

$700 wow
the pump itself is pretty easy to replace, i broke mine a while ago and had to replace it as well. i was able to pick up a used one for $100 and it took me 30 minutes to swap. the pump is held on by 3 bolts. one behind it going up and down and two on the front laying horizontal going into the block. other than that there is the belt tensioner to loosen, and a couple hoses. as long as you have some basic tools its not difficult.
i also sent you a pm with something that might help out
