Did your exhaust tip turn blue? I've had mine for 6 months, and it doesnt look any bluer than when I first got it. I've seen some really nice completely blue tips on S2000s.

same here

mine has the last one inch blued. I'm pretty sure they do that when they're made; and mine hasn't changed in the 8 months i've had it. if you wanna do it yourself, just take it off the car and apply a cutting torch to it, just don't make a hole... haha, i'm teasin; in theory it might work, but i wouldn't do it to mine...

The exhausts are produced that way. If you didn't buy yours with a blue "flamed" tip, your outta luck. The torch method might work, but I sure as hell wouldn't try it to avoid ruining the tip.

That color on the tip is made with a blow tourch. Just gently torch the tip. Keep going in circles until you get what you want.

Ti changes color when "burned".

And, the tip never gets that hot by itself to change color.

If it does, it means you're screwed
Like everyone else said, the blue tip is an aesthetic touch from the exhaust manufacturer. There are some companies that do it, and some that don't.
And I'm jealous of everyone here that has any titanium anywhere on their car

yeah, the 1" of my tip came blue from factory,

but look at this s2000, it supposedly turned blue after driving. so i'm just wondering if it would happen on our cars, guess not.

When I had it, the tip never changed color at all. All I remember is that tip was fkn huge.

I didn't have a diff plate, but mine cleared everything fine.

aznsensation18 you won't have any problem with hks car-ti if you don't have diff protector. if you do, just take it off and sell it for some cash

that titanium muffler was for sure burned by a torch, i've never seen an exhaust manufactured where the canister was blue, makes it look like a factory defect.
