i dont know specific hp gains, but i had it on my car for about 6 months and it was great. no check engine lights, the sound of the turbo, and sheer top end performance. i loved it. the only thing i did not like is that it did not have a bell mouth design where it meets up with the turbo. i recall there being a downpipe exactly like the pde, but it has a bell mouth and its cheaper. i will look for it again.

I thought that uppipes in general don't give any HP gains but it just frees up HP because the stock one is very constrictive...

i think he is referring to the downpipe. none the less they both free up hp and are very noticable.

an upipe is a good starter mod - as for brands the greater of the selection slips my mind; when I get home, I will look up some recomendations for yah.

in my opinion freeing up hp would be like an up pipe, any exhaust component, under drive pulleys.

creating hp would be adding a larger turbo, turning the boost up, nitrous oxide.

The PDE is cool cause you get no cel but save some cash and get and HKS and take it to your local exhaust shop and have them weld that little elbow on it so that you o2 sensor reads what gets traped in there. By theory this should take care of the cell. I be trying this and will post how it works.
