which one

I'm trying to decide between these catbacks, Apex GT, Greddy EVO, Blitz NUR, HKS Hiper, or Scoobysport. Was wondering what your opinions were. I was leaning toward the Greddy since it was the quietest, but I read that the hangers are prone to fall off. Aren't all these catbacks completely stainless steel? Which is next in terms of sound level. I'm trying to go for quiet. They are pretty much all the same in terms of performance gain.

I'd like to ditto all the great results i've had with the "Search" exhaust, not only have i made great power from it, but i've learned a lot during the process!

I'm trying to go for quiet. They are pretty much all the same in terms of performance gain.
If you're trying to go for quiet, go for stock. If you want to go for power, go search.

I think all these people posting "search this, search that" are just post whoring. If you don't want to contribute, don't post. Now I'm not trying to start a flame, but it's a lot easier to hit the back button (it's right there in the top left corner), than it is to post a reply.

hey monkey, you didnt contribute either! (that's 1+ post for me...) i think some of you take this forum business way too seriously.

i've seen GReddy and that sounded perfect for these old ears. like Henry mentioned, I'm sure the hangers shouldnt be a big issue for you.

I have the Scoobysport (+ up/downpipe). Not too loud, you can just hear it at cruise, but you will hear it when you open up the throttle. It's stainless steel but, apart from the tip and the flange face, looks very rough. Hand made but they don't spend much time on making it look like a quality piece of kit.

As much as i'd like to help im gonna have to say do a search on all those exhausts seperately...you'll find out A LOT more then asking in one thread

This is true fellas. By searching for each one sepreately you'll come up with a lot more results.

I can shorten it for you though. Every exhaust you ask about, some people love it and some people hate it- doesn't matter which one you ask about. My suggestion is to find someone local with aftermarket exhaust and see how you like theirs.

Greddy is 94 db at idle and 92 at 3000 rpm. its one of the quietest catbacks with excellent gains. And l agree with what monkey said, if you're not going to contribute dont post at all, just hit the back button, its easier, faster and less time consuming.
