Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

New to Subaru WRX's....idle question!

Remember i am new to WRX's so be nice.
I have been searching for the last 2 days on this forum for some sort of how to article to fix this idle problem. The WRX is my girl's ride....i am lost went it comes to tracking down parts on a subaru.....cause i have not had the chance to own one. I am pretty good with Toyota's but am new to Subaru stuff.

Where is the IAC valve?
Where is the IAC motor?
I have read the posts to clean with carb cleaner but where are these things at?
Car will start for like 2 seconds....and just die! Or idle up and down between 350-1000 and sound like it got some major cam work done to it?
Anyone got pics, or a write-up on cleaning these parts b4 i go to a dealer?...
Thanks
