Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

I have those items, and i think i run rich because my car back fires. I was told by Vishnu Performance that i will have these problems until i buy a piggyback ecu or reflash mine.

your CAI will make you run a little lean. and your bov will make you run a little rich(only between shifts or when you let off the throttle).

All those mods should lean it out a little bit. Except for the H-RFL blow off valve. Ditch that thing, its a POS.

whats wrong with that BOV? its hella fun scaring ppl with the loud azz PSSSHHHTTT! followed by back fire that sounds like gun shots....lol

question: how does an up/down pipe w/cat back make the car run lean?
not trying to be an azz just being curious is all.

The bov and cai will cost you around $450 and if you do a search you will find that they will do nothing for your cars performance and they can actually cause problems. I think the TXS RFL bov vents 100% atmospheric (not sure though) which isnt the best for a factory turbo application. If you really want that sound you may want to look into the GFB bov (or something like it) since it is adjustable and can run 50/50 (50%atmospheric vent/ 50% recirculation). I'm not saying that these parts are useless with all applications but they are with only an upipe and DP.

If I were you I would use that $ for some engine management unless you just want the bov for the niose.

agree

the cai intake makes the car run lean because they car cannot accurately measure the amount of air flow going into the motor. a stock air box is best unless you get your car dyno tuned.

cai does make the car run LEANER but that doesn't mean it's running lean. It runs pretty rich from the factory, and the stock ecu can probably compensate for that minor mod.

The gfb bov is a POS. It wouldn't hold 22 psi at all.

Are you running 22 pounds of boost and if so what setup are you running?
