Mix -n- Match
Hi all
I am very interested in purchasing the COBB Tuning 3" catback exhaust (mainly because of the smooth sound!). However, I also would like to purchase a downpipe and uppipe and install them all together. I've heard bad reviews about the COBB up and downpipes (mainly because of weight and fitment issues). I was just wondering if mixing and matching (eg Helix up and downpipes) would be okay or not with the COBB 3" catback. Any suggestions?

i suppose since the cobb catback is three inches i just look for a downpipe that's three inches. i'm friends with a gearhead so when we make the install, i'm sure we'll be able to make it work.

You should get a bit more power from a catless exhaust - I've been told it's approx. 5whp or so. Sound shouldn't be affected much as far as a change in tone, but it will be slightly louder without cat.
