start at this site, read, read, read.
also if you have a wrx, get the book "training your WRX ver.2" from MRT. It costs a few bucks, but is well worth it.

-turbomagazine.com(great tech articles)
just to name a few....

You can also get Maximum boost by corky bell. This is probably one of the most complete books i have seen on turbocharging. You can get it from amazon for like 25 bucks. I would start reading that, it tells you about compressor maps(how to read), how to design systems, etc...

Wow, this is very interesting stuff, fantastic.
Couple of questions, sorry if they are not entierly on topic
As the compressor basically works to maintain pressure irrespective of flow, then during a closed throttle an open BOV by providing a flow route would load the compressor and cause it to spin down quicker than a dead headed inlet.
Are the standard WRX crank/rods strong enough to take much extra torque or does the Sti set up provide much greater scope.

As far as I know the Wrx's engine is good for about 300hp. But I'm not sure what brakes after 300
I know that the STI's engine is much stronger and is good up to at least 400hp; The turners that are trying to tackle this engine, but are having problems with detination at about 400hp.
