Im thinking of getting a magnaflow cat back for my WRX , is this a wise move ? I was orignaly wanting the Bkitz Nur R spec, but apparantly i will get molested by the police for the noise ? Is this likely to happen ? Any ifo will be greatly recieved.... Thanks

 

These days the PO PO will get you for anything. A lot of us even get pulled over for our stock STI exhaust. California laws state that any muffler that is louder than 97 decibals (volume of your exhaust) is a no no. Anyway, the quietest exhaust in the market is your stock one unless you want to upgrade to a Borla Hush. Hope this helps. . .

 

Yeah thanks, so basicly whatever i get im likely to be questioned about it lol.... it just seems a tad unfair when you hear these big V8 trucks and chopper bikes driving round with a noise that could shake a house down ? Strange is that... i guess its the same as in england, the police target anything that looks / sounds remotley boy racer ish !!!
Would anyone recon i may be okay with the Blitz ? Or, is the magnaflow a safer option.... Its just ive heard some good things about the blitz like big hp gain and sound, but is it going to be worth all the hassel ? ?

 

the Nur SPec is nasty loud, it a good sound of it but it's loud...

I've ran a 2.5" Magnaflow with my TurboXS TBE & loved it so much that I had the midpipe modified to a 3" & bought a 3" Magnaflow muffler.
