before i removed my silencer , i did replace the stock with K&N no horse power gain that you can really notice.

 

nothing as far as torque or throttle response also

 

yup i didnt feel and difference the only really reason i got it is so i could have a "K&N" and so i wouldnt have to keep replacing it after like 15k or w/e it is. remove the silencer i did sorta feel a difference and it sound sick! hope i helped

A K&N is only claimed to give up to 5hp so its not something that you'd really notice anyway. I will put one in my car when it comes time to replace my stock filter. Until then its no big deal.

 

do a search for green filter on scoobymods.com


result from that showed that the green filter was better than k&n

 

The boost threshold is normally lowered about 500rpm or so with a new panel filter in conjunction with silencer removal.
