just installed vf39 on a 02 wrx CEL

ok so i just put in a vf39 on my 2002 wrx and i took it out for a drive. As i am going everything is fine and then i came to a stop. I wanted to try to see how fast it takes off and as i am working up to the red line area car stalls for a moment and check engine flashed and then i just changed to 2nd and it does the same thing as i am lurking up the redline area..i was just wondering if its normal...

I am running cobb accessport v2
vf39
07 sti BLUEs injectors
Walbro Fuel pump
catless xs power 3in dp and exhaust.
ssautochrome tmic.
cobb intake.

may be the injectors. what is the cc? the 06 wrx injectors are bigger. i would go with the pinks.it maybe a fuel cut.

You're getting knock, either real or phantom. You shouldn't be getting it either way though. Pull the codes and you'll most likely have a cyl X misfire. Make sure you're using the CA 91 octane map (VF39-S ACN 91oct). Also check to see if you've got a loose heat shield. That'll sometimes do it. Oh, and stay off it till you figure it out.

No, that's not how it's supposed to be. Switch your map to VF39-S ACN 91oct, reset your ECU, and try again.

If I were you I'd stop detonating your engine before you blow the thing up. Pull your boost solenoid and run a line from your compessor outlet to your wastegate and bring to Paul so he can see what's going on.

Minor things turn major really quick. Keep it at 4K or run at wastegate boost. Haste makes waste.

Why don't you post up what you did to try and solve it? Did you follow our suggestions?
