jacking up your rex

guys, i bought a floor jack, but it s too small to lift my car, i can not get the handle to pump in order to life the jack, so it wont lift the car... the handle just hits the bumper. i was wondering if anyone knows of a good floor jack that can lift up both front wheels at the same time from the lift point in the middle front, and similarly in the bck can lift up both rear wheels. i really dont want to spend all that much money, and i dont really know where to go to get it? any help is appreciated

Mine works fine, but I can't remember what brand it is. It's really old and ghetto, probably older than I am. It's a hydraulic floor jack, and it won't fit underneath the side skirt unless the car's already slighted jacked up with the emergency jack from the trunk. I'll try to get back to you on the brand and model, there's probably a (much) newer version out now

He's talking about the tiny "jacking plate" behind the oil pan. makes getting the front up a breeze.

Try removing the skirts before jacking up your car,. I know this is painful but that's the cost of lowering your car. Do not even think of lifting the car in the front due to possible damages. I have 2 jacks so if I need both front or rears jacked, I use them both.
Or you can also use the stock jack but dont forget to suport with jackstands.
BTW, what's up man!

Hey pizza, have you tried that spot for jacking? Is it safe?
