Installing a HKS SSQ BOV
I know it has been covered, but I am very new to WRX's and would just like some info and possibly pics iof anyone has any. I am coming from the Honda world into something so much better yet tougher. What do I need to do about that Recirculation hose since I do not have a recirculation fitting on the BOV? My last WRX looked like the hose was just all in all plugged up with something, but i'm not sure if that is the proper thing to do or what.
Any suggestions?

its a metal plug that you put in there
i dont have pics but
you take the vacuume hose off. unbolt the two bolts and be careful with the gasket!!!!!
next use needle nose vice grips and squeeze the clip that holds the re circ to teh bov.
then pull it out. next put the plug in.
let teh vice grips go. bolt up the bov and rotate it so it doesnt hit the hood pad.
put teh vacuume line that comes with the bov on the bov.
then put the adapter into the stock vacuume line and you are done

don't take this the wrong way but since when do you need to get a car tuned when a bov is put on? Not sure if it effects WRX's differently or not from hondas. Does adding a BOV change much on WRX's?

take the cap off a 2-liter soda bottle and wrap duct tape around it until it fits securely into the recirculation hose, very quick, easy and efficient. I recently took my hks ssqv off and haven't regreted it, I'm faster without it.
