I don't have the directions myself but I do know from helping diagnose a problem for someone you can put the MAF holder pipe in backwards. If you do the car won't run. Just a heads up.

Aargh, you shouldn't have gotten an Injen intake to being with!!!!!
But, since you already have it, try contacting your local import shop or e-mailing Injen for instructions. Or better yet, just sell it to someone else that doesn't know that intakes are useless and can be downright harmful to all but the most highly modified WRX's!

You know what? If you really want to waste your money and risk your car's health and performance for a shoddy CAI, I can't stop you. All I can say is that a CAI is completely useless on a turbocharged engine and presents an unnecessary potential hazard for an engine's well-being. I'd normally say a short ram intake would be fine if you were either making 300+ horsepower, running a FMIC, or running an aftermarket turbocharger. Under no circumstances, however, should a CAI be placed on a turbocharged car like our WRX's. If you look at the top class Impreza's in Japan, Oceania, and Europe, not a single one of them wastes their time or resources on CAI's. As to why the ESX WRX has a CAI on it, it sure beats me. Maybe it's just bowing to the will of its sponsors, or perhaps a bunch of Honda b0yZ insisted that a CAI would be fAstAR. But I can tell you exactly why the official Impreza WRC car, Cusco JGTC Impreza, Jun Super Lemon, Mine's Racing WRX, or any other reputable Impreza does NOT use a CAI.

The ESX WRX (the fastest and quickest WRX out there) uses an Injen intake. If it is soo bad then why would they be using one?
Sorry, I don't have any installation instructions for your intake, either. You might be interested in reading some linked threads about cold-air intakes and their usage on a WRX.

Wow, calm down there choku dori. Some people like the sound intakes make although they can cause problems and are pricey. He could have bought it used at a good price and he could also have the Cobb accessport so he could download the stageII + injen map and be on his happy little way all safe and sound...you never know. But to each his own....

Is this necessary on this thread. We already have one for this debate, just answer his question and in case you weren't aware, the stock intake on a WRX is a cold air intake.

Only if you remove the intake silencer/air tumbler
