Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

I can't believe this! LOL

I was wondering around a local auto parts store and I came across this unusual product. It turned out to be an electronic Blow off Valve for non-turbo cars. Apparently you hook it up to your throttle and when you lift of the pedal it makes a whoosh sound just like a real BOV.
<snip..>
Here's one of those devices I found online with Google and 'electronic blow off valve'.

It would be cheaper and easier to go to Taco Bell and make the sound yourself ...

an electronic sound generator cant make the sound of an actual blow off valve...the blow off valve makes different sounds at different engine speeds and and i doubt this thing has 3000 different tones of sound built it to it for various engine speeds.
