I can't believe this! LOL
I was wondering around a local auto parts store and I came across this unusual product. It turned out to be an electronic Blow off Valve for non-turbo cars. Apparently you hook it up to your throttle and when you lift of the pedal it makes a whoosh sound just like a real BOV. Has anyone seen this around its funnay as hell, i was thinking of buying it for my winter beater. HA HA just thought I pass that on. You see everyone wants to be like us Subie owners. Oh yeah the package had a WRX in the backround.

What store did you see this at? I have a friend with a NA car that asked me if there was a way to install a BOV on his car. I told him know and he said "there must be a way" hehe I want to buy this for him.

Dead link on price page. Many mirror sites for that unit. Scares me. One site lists it as $300...

an electronic sound generator cant make the sound of an actual blow off valve...the blow off valve makes different sounds at different engine speeds and and i doubt this thing has 3000 different tones of sound built it to it for various engine speeds.
