How much PSI can the WRX Take

hey, i might be a newbe here, but the way i look at it is if you start pushing more boost (psi), the hotter the air gets. your compressing it. compressed air gets hot. so... if ya want more psi or boost, shouldn't you need a way to cool it down more than the little intercooler that is on the car. if you can cool the air while at higher boost, the temp shouln't change that much, there for not over heating the components in the engine. i agree that you must set the fuel, and ignition timing with it. defently don't want to much or to little fuel. i could cause some unwanted insodents. but i also think, if you give more air, you should some how discharge it to. a slightly mod exhaust could help some too.
now if i am wrong just let me know. i wont get all mad and stuff. i'm still learning. that is why i like looking through all these forums.

Pretty much dude. Hot, lean, and rich are all bad. The intercooler will actually work with a bigger turbo though. It's the turbo's fault the temps go up. The intercooler gives the same absolute temperature drop, it just starts higher when it enters the IC.

Just for the record, the only way the Delta Dash + MBC method you just described would provide the answer is by blowing up an engine.
I posted that to be a wise *** comment to try and show some people up how to answer this question themselves. I too am pounding my head into the keyboard. This topic is dead. Someone should start a GP on the Delta Dash so everyone can watch their own numbers and answer this for themselves.
