Bigger turbo
Thanks for the Info Guys!
Bigger Turbo is Not always better. The bigger the turbo the more it lags! I am keeping my WRX at 16psi right now just to keep it safe! that is Until I do some Internals

I really doubt you can blow your motor on a stock turbo because it is the rate of flow(cfm) not the boost. Your stock turbo is very limited in flow rate. Have you seen it. Its pretty small. Plus I am sure subaru had people like you in mind when they were building the wrx and would probably not put a turbo on your motor that would detonate it if you turned up the boost. You need to find out what the maximum boost your stock turbo will run effecciently. Then turn it up.

If you call Subaru at the dealer and ask them how much boost my wrx can take. They will say "whats boost". A year ago i asked them when the STI will be in the US and they said, "what do you mean by STI" then i told him Never mind!

Also I was asking a similar question today about turbos adn what not. I am getting a uppipe and downpipe installed soon and was asking what else i should do to get more power. I was told that I would need to install a bigger turbofor example a vf30 i think was one i was looking at at the shop today. then I was told i would need to upgrade my fuel pump and injectors.
I am not saying this is all correct or that this is what you shuld or need to do. this is just what i was told.

1) Educate yourself thoroughly on how to modify and tune turbocharged internal combustion engines.
2)Pay someone else to mod your car who already knows this stuff.
3)Just start changing stuff out based on one-liner advice frominternet message boards.
FYI, those go in order of cheapest (#1) to most expensive (#3).

Yea do get alot of opinions. I always post messages on here and other sites. I also ask questions at my local performance shop.
