8000 Rpm Wrx

Hi does anyone know how to make an 05 wrx affordable to make 8000 RPM? What parts should I buy and how much in total should I be looking at?

Why does it matter if your car will run up to 8000 rpm? Are you having "Honda dreams of grandeur?"

Headwork and a built bottom end . It won't be affordable around $7500-$9000 .

I think the JDM STi 2.0 liter motor redlines at 8,000 RPM as opposed to the US STi that redlines at 7 grand.

I think he's right. Just opt for the JDM STi 2.0 liter.

you can always consider helix cams and valve trains. Talk to a reputable performance store. Personally I love gruppe-s they do awesome work.

no point in revving that high unless you have a turbo that will breathe that high efficiently

Yeah. Besides, I hear Gruppe-S has super customer service. They charge a small premium over some other shops, but I don't mind paying a little bit extra for quality service.

Thanks for replying guys. Yeah I just thought higher rpm would give you better top end torque.

I currently have Cobb AP stage 2 with DP UP TBE, and Short ram intake. And the rev limit was increased to 7250 rpm. Would that be harmful to my car then?

Gruppe-s does have great customer service, quick to responding to your questions . I wil be purchasing a block from them after summer or whenever my stock 2.5L decides to pass on to the afterlife .
