How to do CEL fix for catless uppipe?
So I got the STI uppipe installed. There's no more EGT sensor and I'm going to do the 22kohm resistor thing. But I don't know how to do.

My guess is I need to chop off the adaptor of the sensor wire(what was originally connected to the EGT sensor), and connect the resistor in between the wires. Am I right or wrong?

With the resistor for my Perrin uppipe, I just disconnected the wiring harness of the EGT and put the resistor in the female end of the connection. No CEL.

It's very important that you get a 2.2K-ohm resistor instead of a 22k-ohm. You won't simulate the right values with 22k. A typo it may be, but just have to make sure you knew that.

ditto... just unplug it, and plug it back with the resistor and you're set.

Where to get the resistor?
Damn! Those guys who installed the pipes lost the resistor. And they got me a new one but i just found that it's not 2.2kohm

So where can I get new one? Radio shack I suppose?

make sure you use the 1/2 watt resistors and not the 1/4 watt. Some people have had the 1/4 watts burn out. I've had my half watt resistor on my car for over 15K with no problems.
