hks carbon ti or stromung dual tip

please talk me into or out of getting either one of these catbacks!

hks: great build quality but a lil ricey

stromung: everyone says the build quality is nice, but from the pictures, it doesn't look that great to me...but the sound is excellent!

so basically, sleeper status or the hks? im leaning towards the hks, but please give me some input! thanks

I think it is all about what you really want, both are great quality, I like my stromung dual tip nice sleeper look, sounds sweet. If you want a big can then HKS is very nice as well.

HKS has been proven to make the most power compared to many other cat-backs.

HKS Hi-Power also comes in stainless steel if you don't want the bling of CF and Ti

HKS is too damn loud. I've had a Stromung and it sounds perfect, like a WRX should, and the quality is good, contrary to what you think.

Believe me, I never accidentally leave it in 4th gear anymore!

i think the new hks hiper exhaust have a different version now. They have a flex section and isn't coated with the black material. 02 Black Wrx had one but sold it, so u can pm him if more info is needed.

He wasn't thinking of getting the Hiper though, he was/is getting the carbon-ti which is full stainless. You'll be really happy with the HKS. It was a bit loud at first but you'll get used to it. I installed my HKS and up/down pipes all at once so it was a major change from stock. But I grew to like the sound a lot, really deep rumble and sounds plain mean at WOT.
